 Tenisha is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) who has over 10 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults with both MH & SA diagnoses; however, mental health diagnoses are her primary service. I am a proponent of using the trans-theoretical approach of Motivational Interviewing, which gauges and supports one’s motivation for change. Theoretically, I rely heavily on Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Reality-Based Therapy.
